And maybe you’ll feel offended of what I’ll say.

But it’s the truth, and you should NEVER lie to yourself.

That’s the worst thing anyone can do.

In order to become the best version of yourself, it’s first accepting who you are and what you truly want.

But that’s only the first step.

Now I’ll say this…

MOST EDITORS ARE IN A POOR HEALTH STATE

I’m gonna be 100% honest here.

Most editors out there in the world are not in a healthy state.

Why?

Because of their job.

It’s a time consuming job where you are sitting in a chair for who knows how many hours.

I get it, but that’s not an excuse to sit around the rest of the free day.

If you feel identified by this, keep reading.

I promise, these tips will help you.

Now get up you lazy bastard and start thinking about your health!

I’ll try to help you achieve this.

And I truly mean this. I want more badass editors out there!

Let’s get right to it.

Follow me comrade!

GET UP FROM YOUR CHAIR EVERY HALF HOUR

This is an incredibly and simple tip.

I usually spent 30-50 minutes in the computer working.

And then I get up and start walking around the house.

You can do this in your department, whatever place you’re living.

Even if you are in a prison cell, you can walk.

Spend 5 minutes just walking and clear your mind from your work a little bit.

Think about the cool things you’re gonna do later on that day.

Then get back to work.

REST YOUR EYES EVERY HALF HOUR TOO

This can be done by combining the walking tip.

Just get out of the computer and look outside your window.

If you have a balcony even better!

Just look as far as you can. Try to focus on the farthest thing you see.

Trust me friend, this will help you a lot.

Not only your eyes will relaxed, but your mind as well.

But for God’s sake, don’t look at your cellphone or any screen!

Try to think about positive things while you look outside.

I just stay for a few minutes contemplating the beautiful nature.

Birds, trees, etc.

Just chill out for a bit.

Then get back to your computer and kick ass!

TAKE SOME VITAMIN D

Ah, the Sun. What a wonderful warmy star.

The Spring just started around these parts. And man, what a spectacular thing it is.

If you’re living in a sunny place, don’t waste it!

What I usually do is finishing the work for the day and take a good break.

10 minutes of Sunlight in your face everyday is more than enough.

It’s now part of my daily routine and I love it.

START WORKING OUT

This is a must do tip that I recommend.

My life truly changed once I started working out.

I’m 27 years old. I’ve been working out for 6 years now.

This is something people who don’t exercise doesn’t understand.

Working out is not just doing it for the looks. Your confidence improves.

If your confidence improves, so does your life. And I mean in every possible way.

You’ll start looking things in a positive way. And that is something that you must have.

In order to improve your work, so must your health life.

And this well being obviously translates to everything.

EAT HEALTHY

“You are what you eat”

Completely true.

If you really want to improve your life, you MUST eat better.

Shit, I know, the line of work we do kind of complicates things.

Well, for me it doesn’t.

Why?

MINDSET.

Your mindset is everything.

I choose to eat healthy because I have a proper mindset.

If you start working out and eating healthy, trust me, your mindset will improve.

HAVE CHEAT MEALS

What are cheat meals?

It’s basically eating whatever you want in any particular day.

I don’t have any specific day in which I’ll do this.

If I wake up and want to eat half a dozen Burritos, I’ll do it.

And no, I don’t mentally torture me saying “Don’t break the diet!”

Fuck that.

Have fun in life!

If you want to eat the shittiest food there is, then do it!

But this is KEY.

After you have done that. Don’t repeat the process the next day.

Let’s make a Week schedule.

Have two cheat meals a week.

And that’s it.

No shitty routine that everybody hates.

WARNING!

If you go overboard with the cheat meals and start realizing that the only thing you think about is the cheat meal.

Then you should consider SKIPPING this tip.

It may become an addiction and worsen the problem.

Some people can’t have cheat meals.

FINAL THOUGHTS

My friend,

These tips I’m giving you are my fundamental part in life. Among many others obviously.

But I would be a completely different person if I wouldn’t have done this.

And I’m telling this to YOU friend.
